Red Bull REVERSE META brings creator vs Fnatic Valorant showdown to London on 29th August

Red Bull is hosting REVERSE META on August 29th at the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London. It is a new type of competitive format, adding some fun and silliness to the scene. Expect the usual 5v5 Valorant showmatch, albeit with a twist. Rather than standard competitive rules, every round will be shaped by a gameshow-style wheelspin that determines the challenge each team must face, from weapon restrictions to playing rounds with no sound and other unconventional twists.

Minecraft and variety creator, Tubbo leads a creator team, featuring Tenshi, Andruwu, Jonnaay and Seapeekay against Fnatic. Fnatic, of course, recently failed to make their playoffs run, but, with huge personality in the space, should offer some exciting battles for those interested.

For anyone unfamiliar with the names, Tubbo is one of the UK’s most recognisable Minecraft and variety creators with millions of followers across platforms. Seapeekay is also a variety and Minecraft YouTuber. On the other hand, Jonnaay is a food YouTuber. Andruwu does produce Valorant content, alongside Tenshi.

The stream itself will be available from 3:30 PM on the day. The YouTubers are also allowed to stream or upload videos from their perspective if you want alternative views of the rounds. Fnatic, on the other hand appear to be locked to the main stream. You can find it on the Red Bull channels on Twitch or YouTube. 

The winning team takes home exclusive REVERSE META memorabilia, a s fun keep sake for the event.

It should be the first time fans will see the Fnatic roster playing Valorant again as a team. The team was recently eliminated from the Valorant EMEA Stage 2 play-ins in the lower bracket round 2. It is one of the first times the roster has not made the playoffs in their domestic region. It’s certainly a far cry from the previous run in April, where both Fnatic and FUT performed well. It should be nice seeing Jake “Boaster” Howlett and co back on stage together.
