CoinPoker’s $50 million Global Online Poker Championship (GOPC) has completed its opening days, with Jesse Lonis and Ryan Riske among the first high roller winners of the series.
The 37-day online poker festival began on August 23 and runs until September 28, featuring more than 700 Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal events across three regions.
CoinPoker has guaranteed $50 million across the full schedule, including a $3 million guaranteed Main Event with a $530 buy-in, a $1 million Global Main priced at $55, and a $250,000 Mini Main with an $11 entry fee.

The 83-player field also included Patrick ‘Pads’ Leonard, Benjamin ‘Bencb’ Rolle, Seth Davies and Alejandro ‘Papo MC’ Lococo, amongst other famous names. The top 18 players finished in the money.
Lonis has now taken home over $250,000 in winnings since he started playing on the CoinPoker platform back in January 2026.
Elsewhere, iloveMyHand won approximately $63,600 in the $530 Opening Ceremony, while BlackJes collected more than $52,500 from the $150 CoinMasters BITCOIN.
Discounts launch as CoinPoker addresses technical disruption
CoinPoker has also activated GOPC discounts for members of its 3-Bet Club. Eligible events include early $55 Day 1 flights for the $1 million guaranteed Global Main.
Ambassador Mario Mosböck highlighted one example: the $109 CoinMasters DOGE was reduced to $89 for eligible members.

The opening night was not without its problems. There were connection issues on August 23 that temporarily disrupted multiple GOPC tournaments. Events were restarted after the issue was resolved, with the operator confirming compensation for affected players.
The GOPC continues until September 28, with its three headline Main Events and further high roller tournaments still to come.
