UK Rocket League players ApparentlyJack and Noly continued their successful stint with Gen.G as they won the RLCS Fall Split Major.

They defeated Moist Esports 4-2 with US teammate Chronic in the grand final, which had a total of four UK players taking part, including Moist’s Joyo and Rise.

The event took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and featured a $310,000 prize pool. Gen.G took home $100,000 of that, with Moist receiving $60,000.

Quadrant’s all-UK Rocket League roster also took part at the Major, and so did Oxygen who have UK player Archie.

The news comes one month after Gen.G won the North American RLCS Fall Invitational, which earnt them first seed for the Rotterdam Major.

ApparentlyJack and Noly were ecstatic after the win.

Noly said: “I won a fucking Major, omg, I literally said to everyone I will win today guaranteed. Full confidence in my team and org to support us – GGs to everyone, especially Moist Esports.”

Noly also promised to stream while wearing a cat boy maid outfit in 2023 to celebrate the win.

Moist’s UK players also reacted.

Joyo and Rise were of course part of the Moist roster that won the London Rocket League Major earlier this year.

RLCS Winter Major to take place at DreamHack San Diego

DreamHack and Psyonix also announced that the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Winter Major will take place at DreamHack San Diego with a $310,000 prize pool.

The event will mark the first time the RLCS has taken place at a DreamHack festival, and the first time an RLCS event has taken place in Psyonix’s hometown of San Diego, California. It will run from April 7th to 9th 2023 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Early Bird tickets start at $85 for the three-day festival. All DreamHack San Diego tickets will give standing room access to watch RLCS – a $10 Rocket League-specific add-on to the 3-Day Pass is also available for guaranteed seating.

Tickets to the RLCS DreamHack Winter Major will be available beginning on Wednesday, December 14th beginning at 10am PT.

“We are incredibly excited to host the Rocket League Championship Series Winter Major at DreamHack San Diego, as this event is poised to be our most significant US festival to date,” said Michael Van Driel, VP of Game Ecosystems at ESL Faceit Group.

“Psyonix has been a tremendous partner over the years, so to bring this event to their hometown of San Diego, while also being a part of a DreamHack festival for the first time, will make this a memorable experience for everyone involved.”

Teams will begin playing in January 2023 to qualify for the Major. The breakdown of teams that will qualify for the Winter Major is:

 ● 5 teams from Europe (EU)
   ● 5 teams from North America (NA)
