Erling Haaland reveals his EA FC 26 Career Mode team

World-class Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland has been joining in on the EA FC 26 hype.

That’s no surpirse given Haaland is one of EA FC 26’s highest-rated players alongside Kylian Mbappe and Mohamed Salah.

The Norwegian striker revealed on his Snapchat that he has been playing EA FC 26 with early access.

He was likely gifted the game by EA Sports, but with £500k a week wages, he can definitely afford the Ultimate Edition.

However, while many sweat it out competing online on Ultimate Team, Haaland has instead been playing Career Mode.

The Manchester City superstar has been managing the club where he started his career, Bryne FK.

While born in Leeds, England, Haaland moved to Bryne at three years old, as it was his parents’ Norwegian hometown.

There, Haaland reportedly broke the world record for his age group in the standing long jump at five years old.

It wasn’t long before Haaland was scouted by Bryne FK’s academy.

Haaland eventually debuted for Bryne’s first team before he turned 16, but he never scored a goal for them in 16 appearances.

He then moved to Molde in 2017 to play under Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

In real life, Bryne FC are struggling in Norway’s Eliteserien and sit just above the relegation zone in 13th with 21 points from 22 games.

In Haaland’s Career Mode, Bryne hit that points tally but much sooner as they sit four points clear at the top of the table.

With a transfer budget in-game of just £1.24m in EA FC 26, Haaland has clearly worked wonders for the team.

With a challenge like that, Bryne might be one of the most fun teams to play in EA FC 26 Career Mode.

Erling Haaland records his lowest-ever Ballon d’Or finish since 2021

Haaland has ridiculous goal-scoring statistics.

Somehow, scoring six goals in five games for Man City this year is his worst start to a Premier League season.

After Manchester City failed to win any silverware, Haaland has seemingly been judged harshly in the Ballon d’Or.

The Norwegian was voted the 26th best player in the world, by far his lowest ranking since breaking into global football in 2021.

People can’t blame video games either, as Football Manager fan Ousmane Dembele was crowned the winner.

Haaland still had a good year. He scored 22 goals in the Premier League and 34 goals all season.

The drop from a fifth-place finish in the Ballon d’Or the year before seems extremely harsh.
