London-headquartered esports organisation Fnatic are the first team from EMEA to qualify for the major Valorant Champions 2024 tournament.
They are one of 16 teams that will compete at the biggest LAN competition of the year in Valorant esports, which will take place in South Korea from August 1st to 25th 2024.
Fnatic have qualified thanks to their VCT EMEA points standings. They are top with 13 points, just about Heretics in second place (with 12 points) and FUT Esports in third (with 11 points).
This sends Fnatic – consisting of Boaster, Derke, Alfajer, Chronicle and hiro – to Valorant Champions Seoul.
Fnatic have also qualified for the VCT EMEA 2024 Stage 2 playoffs, along with Heretics and FUT. The other team places are still to be decided.
The news comes after Fnatic beat Team Liquid 2-0 yesterday.
