On July 7th 2024, Noctem Esports defeated Saudi Arabian powerhouse Team Falcons to qualify for The Call of Duty Challengers Championship.

These CoD Challengers Finals will be hosted by Optic Gaming at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center from July 18th to 21st 2024.

The Last Chance qualifiers for Europe happened on July 6th and 7th, with 11 teams battling it out to qualify for champs. With two spots up for grabs, Noctem X CR and ‘Houdini’ (a free agent team) will now join other European teams, OMiT EU, Clutch Rayn X WaR, Exceptional and FiveMediaClan, in two weeks’ time.

On Sunday, four teams were left – Noctem X CR, Houdini, Revived Gaming and Team Falcons. Noctem lost to Houdini in the winner’s final in a tense five-game thriller, before overcoming Team Falcons in a must win game, 3-2.

Noctem founder and CEO Jack Stovell said:

Last year, Noctem lost out in the finals of the LCQ. So going up against Team Falcons (who recently won the EU elite stage 3), Noctem were the underdogs heading into the match.

Two out of four of the Noctem x CR team (Detain and Niall), won the first UK CoD LAN in five years in March 2024. The other players are Aspekt and Twizz. It’s a core English team, with Twizz from France.

Detain is the current longest serving player of Noctem, having joined in March 2023 – playing alongside Peatie, Dqvee and Rezzy on the Noctem Black Roster.

Noctem said this is the latest in a series of recent successes for them. They recently started working with MSI, their women’s roster Noctem Violets won back-to-back European women’s league titles (and recently reached the final of the Sakura League Flower Division).

And Noctem have also announced their academy teams (Noctem Rising and Strix Rising) in preparation for the new Call of Duty title, Black Ops 6.
