British Chinese esports and gaming brand, MNM Gaming, have seen their Rainbow Six Siege team win two tournaments in two weeks.

MNM reverse sweep Wolves to win R6 Central Combine

MNM defeated fellow UK-based esports brand Wolves Esports after turning around a 0-2 scoreline to pull off a reverse sweep and win 3-2.

MNM lifted the trophy yesterday at the LAN finals in Cologne’s Xperion venue.

KalKal, CEO of MNM Gaming, told Esports News UK: “Our goal is to be the best in the world. Winning the R6 Central Combine is just a step in the right direction to that goal.

“Thanks to the amazing community who showed their support too.”

The org defeated Wild MultiGaming 2-0 in the quarter-finals and Calories 2-0 in the semi-finals to reach Wolves in the final of the €40,000 Combine.

Others taking part included KT, Team Alpha, Team 86 and Illés Akadémia Spirit.

MNM Gaming Siege team coach, Julio, who joined MNM earlier in 2023, said: “Nice resilience from us, from 0-2 to 3-2 in a final. We are getting better and better and team chemistry is on point (Japan drunk karaoke buff).”

The win brings MNM their 29th trophy in esports to date.

MNM Gaming Siege team on form after R6 Japan Invitational 2023 win

MNM Gaming Siege team win R6 Japan Invitational 2023

The MNM Gaming Siege team won the R6 Japan Invitational 2023 earlier in August.

They defeated Cyclops 2-0 in the grand final at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Hall in Japan on August 12th.

Other teams involved included Scarz, Northeption, Igzist, Fnatic, Crest Gaming, Varrel and Fav Gaming.

The wins are another demonstration of MNM’s weight in Rainbow Six Siege.

It’s a game they have been successful in for several years now, since the early days of the now-defunct Rainbow Six Siege ESL UK & Ireland Premiership.

Navi went on to acquire an old MNM roster and win the Pro League Season 10 finals with them, before MNM went on to have a regular presence in the Europe League and several majors.

We look forward to seeing what’s next for the flaming ninja marshmallows, as Stage 2 of the Europe League 2023 approaches in September.
