The Red Bull Contested broadcast talent line-up has been announced today, ahead of the UK Fortnite LAN which takes place in Scotland soon.
It’s being billed as ‘the UK’s first ever major Fortnite LAN tournament’ and will be hosted at Edinburgh’s McEwan Hall on Saturday June 10th 2023.

Providing insight into the players’ dynamics and expert opinions throughout the tournament, British esports hosts Frankie Ward (pictured above) and Iain Chambers will partner up to host the tournament.
Both Frankie and Iain have worked on a wide variety of broadcasts over the years, with Frankie particularly known for CSGO and League of Legends, and Iain Chambers for Rainbow Six Siege, his work with UK-based Guild Esports and more. They will joined by British Fortnite casters Daniel ‘Leven2K’ Oyelade and Scott ‘Miniminer’ John.
Completing the Red Bull Contested broadcast talent line-up are British analyst Reiss ‘Reisshub’ McCormick and American analyst Melissa ‘Taco’ Posada.
Who’s playing at Red Bull Contested and what can we expect from the event?
The full player line-up for Red Bull Contested has also been revealed. It includes the likes of UK players Veno, Pinq, Hen, Nebs and Wolfiez, as well as players from outside the UK including Nordic players MrSavage, Th0masHD and lots more.
Following the open qualifiers earlier this month, 10 UK players secured their spots to go head-to-head against some of the world’s best Fortnite players.
Red Bull Contested will play out in a unique solos Fortnite format created specifically for the tournament, which will see the world’s best players battle across eight intense rounds but with an additional twist on the traditional points system.
For the final four rounds, eliminations will be worth double points, forcing players to adopt new aggressive strategies to stay in the hunt for the crown, while also incentivising the lower-ranked players to play more aggressively, promising fans an ‘unforgettable’ finale.
A press release read: “The iconic McEwan Hall will be transformed to match the high-octane energy and atmosphere of a huge Fortnite tournament, by creating an electric, Fortnite den for the players to compete and the audience to revel in.”
