The 2022/23 ePremier League Finals take place this weekend (March 25th and 26th) and will once again be broadcast on Sky Sports Premier League.

It will see some of the world’s best FIFA 23 players competing to win the title for their club, with this season’s ePL Finals to be hosted at Here East in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park again.

The action will be televised in the UK on Sky Sports Premier League and shown across the League’s digital channels (YouTube, web, app and Facebook).

Broadcast coverage will be fronted by experienced sports and entertainment presenters Rachel Stringer and Kyle Walker, supported by Alex Bee and Jaime Alvarez, with a commentary team including esports FIFA commentators Brandon Smith and Richard Buckley.

It will also be streamed on EA’s Twitch channel (http://twitch.tv/EASPORTSFIFA), plus Sky Sports’ YouTube platform and app.

As announced a few months ago when it was confirmed that the ePremier League would return for a fifth year, all 20 Premier League football clubs will be represented. Two FIFA players for each club will compete for the honour of ePremier League (ePL) Champion and a share of the £100,000 prize pool. The four competitors from the top-two clubs will also earn spots in the FIFA 23 Global Series Playoffs and Play-Ins.

The 40 finalists were determined following Club Playoffs late last year, with a mix of new faces and former champions set to compete.

Clubs are split into four groups for Saturday’s matches, with the top two in each group progressing to Sunday’s knockout stages.

Premier League Chief Commercial Officer Will Brass said: “We are really excited about the fifth instalment of the ePremier League Finals. The competition continues to grow stronger every season, with former champions looking to reclaim the title for their club and a host of new talent coming through to challenge them on the biggest stage.

PGS acquire Notoriouz including FIFA players taking part in ePremier League finals

UK-based esports platform company PGS Esports has announced that it has reached a definitive agreement with Notoriouz Esports (NTZ) to absorb the NTZ brand.

PGS Esports CEO James Kamez told Esports News UK that going forward, PGS Esports shareholders will own around 75% of the NTZ company, with two of the current Notoriouz shareholders owning the rest. NTZ will begin using PGS Esports branding with immediate effect.

The combined company will have content creation, advertising, advisory, influencer marketing, merchandise and competitive esports segments.

Several players from Notoriouz will be in the ePremier League finals this weekend, including Cozza, Ragnar and Kyle.

PGS will also be entering Fortnite, F1, iRacing, Rocket League and Call of Duty.

Connor Burgess, NTZ CEO, said: “We are delighted to join forces with PGS Esports, the future looks to be very bright with many things to come.”

Shaun, CFO of PGS Esports, commented: “The merger immediately expands our organisations, which we expect will help us on an accelerated path to profitability in 2023 whilst creating an exciting pro scene division within the PGS brand.”

CEO James Kamez added: “The merger is great news for everyone involved and we have a lot in store for our community and the esports scene in the near future.”
