UK esports organisation Into the Breach have been announced as one of eight teams taking part in the 2023 Trackmania Grand League.

They will join BIG (Germany), Solary (France), Karmine Corp (France), Team BDS (Sweden), Alliance (Sweden), Gamers First (USA) and Sinners (Czech Republic) in the 2023 Trackmania ecosystem, and made the announcement on their Twitter page a few days ago:

Trackmania esports is being revamped in 2023 with the introduction of the annual Trackmania World Tour (TMWT) and a new team format with 2v2 matches in the TMWT league and related tournaments.

The TMWT will be an annual esports circuit featuring the Trackmania Grand League (TMGL) and the Trackmania Challenger League (TMCL), plus regional tournaments in NCSA, APAC, MEA and EU, as well as the annual Trackmania World Championship (TMWC). There’s more info on the official Trackmania esports 2023 page here.

Into the Breach said on their website page linked above: “Since our entry to the world of Trackmania in early 2022 with the signing of Hubert ‘mime’ Dziedzic, we have been one of the most active organisations within the game.

“Our efforts have not went unnoticed – following our line-up’s amazing results, including second place at the Trackmania World Cup, we are delighted to announce that Into The Breach was chosen as one of the eight founder teams of the Trackmania World Tour.

“Our team will be represented by two people – however, the player who will be the partner of ‘mime’ in the 2023 season is not yet announced. Keep an eye on our socials for further updates about our future Trackmania endeavours.”

Sam Cook, Into the Breach founder, told Esports News UK:

“This news is huge for us. We have extensive plans to make Trackmania a primary title for us, and have every intention of ending 2023 as champions.”

For now, as well as Polish player mime, Into the Breach have Czech player Elconn21 and German streamer Lars currently listed on their website.
