The esports arm of English Premier League football club Wolves has entered Rainbow Six Siege with the signing of a top-three team from the European League.

Wolves Esports signed the org-less roster – consisting of four French players and one Belgian player – ahead of the Six Charlotte Major 2022 which kicks off in the US this week (from Monday May 16th 2022).

The ex-Vitality ‘Looking For Org’ (LFO) roster has also competed in the 6 French League, and recently finished third in the European League, behind Heroic and Team BDS.

Wolves’ Siege team also includes Robin ‘Robz’ Planus (team manager, French), Laurie ‘Lyloun’ Lagier (head coach, French) and Louis ‘Helbee’ Bureau (assistant coach, Canadian).

Team manager Robz said on the Wolves website: “As a team, our primary objective is to be consistent in the European top four and represent Wolves and Europe in every international tournament over the year. Our secondary objective is to get better and better international results and qualify for our World Championship, the Six Invitational, which happens once a year.”

Wolves esports manager Michael ‘Duck’ Moriarty added: “It’s a pleasure to bring the LFO roster into Wolves Esports. Rainbow Six is an esports title I’ve had an eye on for a couple years now, and when we came to a point to expand our European esports offering, the title was my first choice.

“Spending time with Robin and the players while we briefly hosted them here in Wolverhampton before heading over to the US, their energy and passion for the game, and desire to win, matches what we want to build here at Wolves.”

“I can’t wait to see what they do in Charlotte, the upcoming season and more into the future.”

Other teams at the Charlotte Major include Liquid, Furia, Dire Wolves, BDS, G2, Heroic and more. The latter two organisations are the only two with UK talent at the Major: Sloth and Grizzly on Heroic and CTZN and Doki on G2.

Last year, Wolves partnered with North American esports giant Evil Geniuses. The Evil Geniuses’ League of Legends side recently won the North American LCS with British coach Peter Dun, and have been competing at the Mid-Season Invitational in South Korea, where they have just reached the rumble stage.
