Online reports suggest that BLG top laner Chen ‘Bin’ Ze-Bin has walked away from the LPL League of Legends roster after a dispute between teammates.
These reports are supported by the fact that BLG has since promoted Yang ‘Wenbo’ Wen-Bo to the main roster.
Why has Bin left the BLG roster?
In the most significant LPL drama since RNG exited League of Legends, Bin appears to have walked out on the BLG roster. According to a post shared online by the X (Twitter) account “King Valeiker” (@lolvaleiker), Bin left the BLG roster due to a dispute with a BLG team leader. This is assumed to reference team management.
"Bin left.

While arguing with the team leader
He carried his bag and just left he is not kicked"

In the post, they clarified, “While arguing withthe team leader, he carried his bag and just left.” They also stated, “he is not kicked,” suggesting that Bin is not permanently removed from the roster but may be stepping back temporarily while any conflicts are resolved.
They posted a screenshot of messages regarding the situation.
The League of Legends community is already discussing the possible reasons behind this change.
Bin did face significant challenges during the 2025 season, which appear to have continued into 2026. Competing in such a high-pressure environment would certainly make the conditions for tension possible to arise.
Rumour has it that Bin has LEFT BLG, just upped and walked out.

Who the hell would the replace him with? Breathe? Ale? TheShy??
I’m hoping to god it’s not true, but Bin struggled individually a lot in 2025 and now in early 2026, perhaps tensions boiled over.
Others believe that Bin’s tensions with BLG lie explicitly with management, not his teammates.
Until further information is received from the team or players involved, this is speculation.
Is Wenbo replacing Bin permanently?
As of January 29th, the LPL website lists two top laners for BLG, both Bin and Wenbo.
Furthermore, the official LoL Esports social media accounts have announced Wenbo’s promotion to BLG’s first team.

The King Valeiker account also posted a screenshot from BLG’s Discord announcing that Former BLG.J top laner Wenbo has been promoted to the main roster, effective immediately.
Given these various confirmations of Wenbo’s promotion, Wenbo is expected to play in BLG’s upcoming game on January 30th.
However, this does not guarantee that the roster move is permanent.
"Former BLG.J top laner Yang Wenbo (ID: Wenbo) has been officially promoted to the main roster effective immediately.

With this temporary promotion, we hope Wenbo can swiftly adapt to the competitive intensity and deliver outstanding performances alongside his teammates." pic.twitter.com/b7ucAzQaQp
In the Discord screenshot posted by King Valeiker, BLG states, “This temporary promotion is intended to help him quickly adapt to the intensity of competition and deliver satisfactory performances with the team.”
With both players being registered, BLG has left the door open for Bin’s return, if any tensions are resolved.
