Riot Games has announced the date for the 2025 iteration of the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Awards.
The annual awards show will take place December 19th at the CJ ENM Center in the Mapo District of Seoul.
The event will celebrate the best players and coaches from the highly competitive LCK from the 2025 LoL esports season.

Judging from previous iterations, the LCK Awards 2025 will celebrate the best players in every position: top, jungle, mid, bot lane, and support.
It’ll also likely crown the Coach of the Year, Best Player of the Year, and the Rookie of the Year.
Last year’s Best Player of the Year award came with a trophy and ₩5 million KRW (£2.5k) in prize money.
The award was unsurprisingly won by T1’s Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok.
In general, it was T1 and Gen.G who dominated the LCK Awards 2024, and that will likely be the case again this year.

It’s almost guaranteed that T1 will clear up at the LCK Awards 2025.
T1 won LoL Worlds 2025 to become World Champions for the third year in a row.
It was a record sixth LoL Worlds title in total for the organisation and the legend that is Faker.
Equally, Gen.G are favoured to take home a few rewards after another strong year.
Despite falling short at Worlds yet again, Gen.G were dominating the LCK, having won the Spring and Summer Splits.
Gen.G also won MSI for the second year in a row with strong performances from Jeong ‘Chovy’ Ji-hoon.
To the point that at the League Awards 2025, Chovy was awarded the Player of the Year despite tough competition.
However, still hurt from failing at Worlds, Chovy said he was surprised during his acceptance speech:
A message to the fans from Chovy!

“I’m not sure I really deserve this award but receiving it gives me an even stronger sense of responsibility.
“I’ll keep working harder and try to bring better performances and results. Thank you so much for always supporting me.”
Another outside shout for an award or two is KT Rolster’s midlaner Gwak ‘Bdd’ Bo-seong
Bdd had a phenomenal end to the year, helping KT Rolster shock Gen.G twice and surprisingly reach the Worlds final.
As for Rookie of the Year, the award is likely between Dplus Kia’s toplaner Jeon ‘Siwoo‘ Si-woo and BNK FearX’s botlaner Nam ‘Diable‘ Dae-geun.
Both young players were key for their teams in the LCK throughout 2025.
