New Pokémon TCG Pocket expansion leaked with GUARANTEED rare in every pack

The next Pokémon Pocket TCG expansion has leaked, and it’s unlike any pack we’ve seen in the game so far.

A new trailer was accidentally posted by the official Japanese Pokémon TCG Pocket X account and has since been deleted.

Roughly translated, the name of the new A4b pack is ‘High Class Pack EX’ with reprinted cards from previous expansions.

Each pack will only contain four cards, but one is guaranteed to be rare at four diamond quality or higher.

As the TCG game approaches its first anniversary, DeNA is seemingly giving players a chance to catch up on old packs.

Four diamond cards mean you are guaranteed an EX card in each pack or ‘better.’

Though rarer cards could mean alternative art of useless cards like Yamper or Smeargle.

However, it appears this expansion will only include cards that have previously been meta-defining or popular.

While full of old cards, the trailer confirms there will be some reprinted cards with brand new art.

There will now be new one-star rarity cards for both Gardevoir and Greninja.

And Pokémon Pocket is also finally releasing a full-art Professor Oak card with a brand new two-star Professor’s Research.

Plus, there will also be a two-star version of the original, Genetic Apex, Pikachu EX card.

In addition to this new art, reprints of the following EX cards with their original art have been confirmed:

• Charizard EX (Shining Revelry)
• Exeggutor EX (Genetic Apex)
• Moltres EX (Genetic Apex)
• Arceus EX (Triumphant Light) 
• Giratina EX (Shining Revelry)
• Eevee EX (Eevee Grove)
• Pachirisu EX (Space-Time Smackdown)
• Lucario EX (Shining Revelry)
• Articuno EX (Genetic Apex)
• Ho-Oh EX (Wisdom of Sea and Sky)

The art for the pack also shows Dialga, Palkia, Lugia, Mewtwo, Solgaleo and Lunala – most of the previous packs’ cover stars.

However, fans should note that this new pack is only going to be available for a limited amount of time.

Pokémon Pocket players will have until the 30th of October to open these guaranteed-rare card packs.

When will the next Pokémon Pocket expansion release?

According to the leaked trailer, the ‘High Class Pack EX’ packs will be available from Tuesday, September 30th.

That expansion will be available for a month before the mobile game receives its biggest update yet.

Earlier this year, Creatures Inc. and DeNA teased that Mega Evolutions are coming to the mobile game.

However, players will have to wait a little longer, according to the Pokémon Pocket Mega Evolutions leaked release date.

The good news is that the Mega Evolutions expansion will be the next update for the game after the rare catch-up packs.

It’s expected that the update will bring out three new packs and be the start of ‘Set B’ for Pokémon Pocket.
