The 2024 PMGC broadcast talent line-up has been revealed for London’s PUBG Mobile Global Championship finals this weekend.
It brings the largest esports prize pool in UK history — $3m — for the 16 teams to compete for.
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 grand finals London venue, date and tickets were revealed earlier this year, with the event taking place at London’s Excel Centre from Friday December 6th to Sunday December 8th 2024.
The 2024 PMGC broadcast talent line-up is as follows:
- Barney ‘Banks‘ Banks (Stage Host, UK)
- Dawoud ‘Sandstorm‘ Dawoud (Stage Host, Palestine)
- Jason ‘Jkaplan‘ Kaplan (Desk Host, USA)
- Maximillian ‘Maxman‘ Barraud (Analyst, UK/France)
- The7WorldsGaming ‘T7WG‘ (Analyst, USA)
- John Allen (Caster, UK)
- Zander ‘Blank‘ Padwick (Caster, UK)
PUBG Mobile sent a press release to Esports News UK, saying: “Hosting the analyst desk for this historic event for UK esports will be Jason ‘Jkaplan‘ Kaplan, a multi-talented caster with a decade of experience — accompanied by Maximillian ‘Maxman‘ Barraud and The7WorldsGaming (T7WG), two experienced PUBG Mobile casters returning from the 2024 PUBG Mobile World Cup.
“Matches will be cast by iconic PUBG Mobile casting duo John Allen and Zander ‘Blank‘ Padwick, while the stage hosts will be Dawoud ‘Sandstorm‘ Dawoud and Barney ‘Banks‘ Banks (not to be confused with Counter-Strike’s James Banks).
” Known for his charisma and engaging style, Barney has hosted some of the most iconic moments in gaming and is set to guide audiences through the action-packed weekend alongside all-rounder Dawoud, with experience as a stage host, desk host, commentator and analyst.”
Blank is also a part of Dead Air, a content channel for Valve shooter/MOBA Deadlock.
The PMGC Grand Finals are set to be the biggest event of the 2024 PUBG Mobile esports cycle, and will be live from 11:30am (UTC+0) Friday December 6th on PUBG Mobile Esports’ Youtube, Facebook, TikTok and Twitch channels.
While there are no UK players at the PUBG Mobile finals, UK org Guild Esports will be fielding a roster after receiving a host region invitation from organisers. A collegiate PUBG Mobile team will also play in a showmatch, courtesy of British Esports.
