UK Street Fighter players ProblemX and EndingWalker will make an appearance at the opening of the new Mouz HQ in Hamburg this weekend.
The pair, well-known in the FGC (fighting game community), play at the top level of competitive Street Fighter for esports organisation Mouz.
They will meet and greet fans at the event from 1pm to 10pm CET on Saturday November 9th 2024, and play some games with them.
ProblemX first joined Mouz back in 2017, and EndingWalker joined at the start of 2014.
EndingWalker beat his teammate ProblemX in the Brussels Challenge 2024 Street Fighter final earlier this year, and also made the UK proud at Evo 2024.
Mouz HQ opens in Hamburg
The new Mouz HQ will open its doors to the public for the first time this weekend.
It’s a 1,400sq m space across three floors, and is located near Hamburg Central Station.
There are four soundproof pods for solo players, a scrim room with ten gaming stations, and a 100-seat arena that aims to replicate the experience of live esports events, with a surround sound system.
The Mouz HQ also has a creative area to showcase products, and a lounge for teams to relax in, next to a bar and kitchen, plus an office space that aims to bridge the staff and players.
Guests will be able to explore the new facility, watch livestreamed matches in the 100-seat arena, play on 24 high-end gaming PCs and consoles, and meet Mouz teams and players, including those that compete in CS2, StarCraft 2, sim racing and the aforementioned Street Fighter. There is an overall guest capacity of 199 in the venue.
The sold-out event will also give out goodie bags to attendees, take part in a raffle, compete against one another and get a tour of the new facility.
Counter-Strike fans will also be able to watch Mouz’s Main and Academy teams sharpen their skills in a live arena practice against one another.
Mouz COO René Lannte added: “The core purpose behind our new HQ is to establish stronger connections among players, fans, and staff.
“When [CS player] Dori arrived earlier this week, he dedicated additional time after practice to connect with our new NXT youngsters and offered them some immediate coaching.”
The news comes after Mouz revealed their roster for the Street Fighter League Pro Europe 2024.
The new Mouz HQ is located at Glockengießerwall 1, 20095 Hamburg, and the space is also available for third-party bookings.
