Blast has today announced the Blast Premier 2024 Spring Final broadcast talent line-up set to cover the Counter-Strike action in London this month.
And there’s a ton of UK talent ready to entertain the home crowd later this month.
The Blast Premier Spring Final 2024 will take place at OVO Arena Wembley from June 12th to 16th 2024, with the first two days seeing matches played behind closed doors, and to the arena crowd from Friday to Sunday. You can see the teams at the Blast Premier Spring Final 2024 and more info here.
The Blast Premier 2024 Spring Final broadcast talent announcement was made with a Euros 2024 football theme, with each talent being placed in a position on the pitch.
Goalkeeper, sorry desk host Freya Spiers, was announced as the first British talent in the line-up.
She’s joined by fellow Brits Hawka (analyst), Hugo and Harry (casters), plus James Banks and Jacky (arena hosts).
Swiss analyst Maniac and Danish analyst Bubzkji are also a part of the line-up, as are Canadian casters Launders and Scrawny.
Jacky said: “I AM COMING HOME. Can’t wait to be unleashed on stage as your arena host for the Spring Finals! Get ready for me to BLAST you away in my hometown of London.”
Harry added: “First ever international event I’ve worked in front of my home crowd, last time I even did an event among Brits would’ve been back when I started casting at i58 and UK Prem Finals in 2016. Let’s fucking get it boys. This is sick. ENGERLAND, ENGERLAND, ENGERLAND ENGERLAND ENGERLAND!!”
Hugo commented: “After all these years I’m finally working my first LAN in my home country. An absolute pleasure. I wanna see that UK crowd get ROWDY.”
Hawka said: “Delighted to be part of the Spring Finals on the analyst desk! Will be looking to get involved on the analyst desk more this year, and what better way to start than at home in London!”
Bubzkji said: “I’m joining up with Blast for the London Spring Finals. An exciting opportunity for someone who’s only done 4 International Events (English speaking). It isn’t the easiest thing to transmit all the small quirks and features from the Danish cast. But towards the end of Showdown things started to feel a lot more natural.
“Hopefully the improvement and segment are gonna continually be uptrending from this point. The amount of talented people working around these events both off and in front of camera, have made the transition easier. Can’t wait to analyze and discuss CS!”
Blast’s CS Wembley event was first announced last October.
