Esports Wales, the national body for esports in Wales, has today announced the integration of Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptops into its workshops.
‘This strategic partnership with Acer, a major player in esports hardware, promises to revolutionise the learning experience for aspiring gamers and industry experts across the region,’ Esports Wales said in a press release sent to Esports News UK.
Esports Wales will use the Acer hardware for industry workshop sessions in Caerphilly and Newport.
The body is providing training and development opportunities with paths to pro play and the industry. The inclusion of the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptops into the workshops aims to help participants play free from lags or performance issues.
‘The Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptops promise powerful hardware specifications, including high-performance processors and dedicated graphics cards, fast refresh rate, enabling smooth and immersive gaming experiences. This enhanced gaming environment not only facilitates skill development but also opens doors for participants to explore production and streaming aspects of esports with unparalleled efficiency,’ a press release stated.

“We believe that esports is not just about playing games but also about exploring various facets of the industry, including content creation and streaming. With the Acer Nitro 5 laptops, our participants can delve into these areas seamlessly, acquiring valuable skills that are highly sought after in the esports and gaming ecosystem.”
Esports Wales Project Coordinator Kira Bennett added: “The laptops are a great addition to our workshops, giving people who may not have the kit at home an option to learn and develop their skills with industry experts.”
