ESI London 2023, the well-established annual UK-based conference for the esports industry, will return once again this year.
It will take place at Boxpark Wembley on Thursday October 19th and Friday 20th 2023, and aims to be the biggest in its history with 700+ attendees expected.
For the first time, ESI London 2023 will have two new sections – Checkpoint and the ESI London Film Festival. And Esports News UK is delighted to say we’ll be a media partner for the event once again.
Checkpoint will take place as an event for the video games creator economy at Boxpark Wembley, ‘with a focus on the business of the video games and esports niche within the content creator space and industry’.
“As the creator economy continues to boom, checkpoint will provide invaluable insights into the latest trends and developments,” ESI stated.
Then, on October 20th, at BAFTA, the inaugural ESI London Film Festival will get underway.
“This exciting new addition to the ESI London agenda will shine a light on those behind the screens, with a focus on stories related to esports and video games. The festival’s themes this year are digital inequality, diversity, and mental health, reflecting the potential of video games and esports to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives,” ESI added in an announcement.
These follow on from ESI London 2022, which took place in September. You can check out our ESI London 2022 recap here.
Sam Cooke, Managing Director and Co-Founder of ESI, said: “We are thrilled to invite you to Boxpark Wembley for the third consecutive year for ESI London 2023.
“We’re excited for our attendees to gain insights from some of the top minds in and around esports and participate in the socialising and networking activities we’ve planned. Our aim is to inspire and provide opportunities for attendees to connect with individuals and brands within the esports industry.”
