W London hotel opens UK’s first £1,500-a-night gaming suite promoted by Vikkstar

W London Gaming Suite Vikkstar

Soho hotspot W London has launched the UK’s first gaming suite, a hotel room that costs from £1,500 per night.

The personalised gaming suite saw UK YouTube sensation Vikkstar123 (aka Vikkstar) kick off the opening with a live stream of Warzone 2.0.

W London’s gaming suite – transformed from its Wow Suite – is billed as a ‘gamer’s paradise’ and is bookable until April 30th 2023.

The luxury gaming suite has a Samsung 55″ Odyssey Ark, for a cinematic gaming experience. Gamers can also expect to play on the Xbox Series X and CyberPower PC on a Secretlab Magnus Metal Desk, with a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 chair, and Hyper X supplying all the peripherals.

W London – part of Marriott International – has also created a designated ‘brain food’ menu available to order through in-room technology to the suite. The menu will see the likes of chicken or tofu baos, partnering with mushroom extract Dirtea to create Dirtea Sliders and protein balls.

Elsewhere, W London has created a one-night-only cocktail WarZone, to nod to the launch, served with a pop-able bubble which releases fumes, along with Dirtea Martinis, and a Fuel Smoothie also available via the DigiValet.

The gaming suite can be booked for an overnight stay package, with in-room dining available.

W London says it’s the first in the UK to present such an offering.

The news comes after a separate announcement – the UK’s first gaming hotel is set to open in Cornwall.

Vikkstar is a popular UK-based content creator and part of the Sidemen collective, who are currently aiming for a Christmas No.1 song. Vikkstar was also a part of the ‘Game on Grandparents’ CBBC TV show earlier this year.

Guests can book the suite as a package from November – April 2023 from prices starting at £1,500 via W London’s website.
