Insomnia esports coverage powered by AGON by AOC and ESI London
Insomnia 69 (i69) takes place in Birmingham at the end of this month – and Esports News UK will be back bigger than ever to cover the gaming and esports festival.
We’ve teamed up with gaming hardware brand AGON by AOC, which produced the official League of Legends monitor, and ESI London, the esports industry conference that takes place at Boxpark Wembley from September 5th to 7th 2022.
These partnerships and our ENUK Patreon supporters have helped us to attend LAN once again, and this time we’re bringing a team with us to help publish more news, videos, interviews and more.
We’ve put together a team of up-and-coming content creators and production staff – with a focus on students and graduates who are looking to get their foot in the door in the industry.
Esports News UK’s team for Insomnia69 is as follows:
- Mika Flynn, social media/content
- Kai ‘Blue’ England, content
- Paulina ‘Aelina’ Niewinska, content/social shorts
- Ollie ‘Olreeeeeee’ Clatworthy, video production/editing/graphics/photography
- Callum ‘TheSpongeyFrog’, video production/editing
- Jack ‘Jackelbat’ Freeman, content
- Dom Sacco, editor
They will work together and with Esports News UK editor Dom Sacco to produce content and get some guidance along the way.
Insomnia 69 will as usual feature a host of UK esports tournaments, including Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant, CSGO and Team Fortress 2, as well as panels, stage shows, cosplay competitions, creator meet and greets and other activities.
Insomnia 69 will take place at the Birmingham NEC from August 26th to 29th 2022.
Esports News UK editor Dom Sacco said: “We’re delighted to be covering Insomnia once again, and this time with a team to produce a broader mix of content.
“Thank you to our sponsors AGON by AOC and ESI London, to the team for helping out and to all of our readers and supporters for helping us to do this.
“If you would like us to cover your team or a piece of news or an interview at Insomnia, please just give us a shout on Twitter. I look forward to catching up with you all at LAN.”
