Controversial British Twitch streamer Dimitri ‘Greekgodx’ Antonatos has been banned on Twitch just one month after his most recent ban.
Greekgodx was banned after this clip of him from a recent IRL stream surfaced. Some accused Greek of mocking an Asian family, but Greek says the family he walked past weren’t Asian, and to assume they were ‘is very wrong in itself’.
He said on Twitter: “This is funny because that wasn’t an Asian family. That was a geek family speaking Greek. And to assume that they are Asian is very wrong in itself. My family members are Asian – why would I be racist to the people who brought me up?
“I make some random noises and people assume I’m being racist. What is wrong with this world?”
The StreamerBans Twitter account posted the following, but it seems Greekgodx is still a Twitch partner for now and it’s another temporary ban, putting Greek on thin ice for the future.
Greek later added it’s a two-week ban:
Before the ban, Greek said about the clip appearing on Livestream Fails subreddit: “These guys on Reddit are very sad. I pray for you. Get a job, get a life, get girlfriend, go jim. Why do you spend your days wasting away making up fake BS to distract yourself from the real problem? You’re very life is wasting away from you this very moment. You’re wasting time.”
The ban comes one month after Greekgodx was banned on Twitch following an on-stream twerk and rant about women.
Greek had said: “If you want to date me, you better believe that even if you’re streaming, you’re gonna have to stop streaming. Streaming is ended for you, your career is done, okay.
“I will stream while you cook for me and you clean for me and you look after the children, while I gain all the money and I give it to you and our children for a healthy, secure life. Okay?”
Greek later added in a stream with Asmongold the ban was for twerking, not his comments: “I got banned for twerking because a girl twerked and I said she can’t twerk right, I got up and started twerking and said I could do it better than her. I was twerking away and I got banned.”
In recent weeks Greekgodx has been making a string of controversial comments on Twitter about women.
Greek recently stuck up for infamous internet figure and founder of the Hustler’s University training programme, Andrew Tate, after Tate was called out by another streamer, HasanAbi, for his behaviour.
