UK-based B2B events and media company Esports Insider (ESI) has launched the ESI Directory, a global esports directory connecting companies and international brands directly with the biggest figures and brands in esports.

It has also launched ESI Marketplace, a business hub providing knowledge and insights into esports with bespoke reports, whitepapers and back issues of quarterly print publication The Esports Journal, which highlights thought leaders and visionaries within the esports industry.

The ESI Directory boasts more than 200 teams, tournament organisers, game developers, publishers, PR, talent management, creative agencies, service providers and more, listed across 20 categories. The directory will be free to use, and is intended as a source of up to date and filterable lists of active companies and organisations in esports.

Esports Insider is offering three listing plans at launch for ESI Directory to cater to different sizes of businesses, with each one including key categories, sub categories and socials.

Companies can select from a free edition with a basic listing and one external social link or the standard edition for an annual fee of £1,500 that includes contact details with social links, an enhanced profile with a featured listing, header image, interactive map, aggregated news stories and relevant ESI coverage.

There is also the premium edition, for which the pricing is available upon request. This includes all all the standard plan features, plus banner ads, space to include a promotional video and custom links alongside, as well as a more prominent promotion at the top of the directory page.

“Over the years, we have constantly seen the same vague or outdated statistics used in presentation materials that do not reflect the industry accurately, or offer companies relevant data. By partnering with Insightful.gg we’re hoping ESI Marketplace will provide esports businesses or those looking to work in the sector with reliable data.”

ESI Marketplace offers users the opportunity to access and purchase tailored esports reports and whitepapers in partnership with Insightful.gg.

There are up to five reports available from launch as samples focusing on the state of esports ecosystems in specific countries, namely France, the UK, Brazil, Germany and the USA, with more to come.

The new B2B resource and hub ESI Marketplace will feature four subsections including Reports and Whitepapers, The Esports Journal, ESI Store and Agency Services as part of the main ESI website.

Users will also have access to shop back copies of The Esports Journal alongside ESI merchandise and esports reports, with the option to purchase a subscription plan for ESI Marketplace.

ESI also hosts conference events, and the latest one, ESI Digital Summer 2021, takes place next week from September 8th to 9th.

“At ESI, we have been working in the industry for a long time connecting both local and global brands with esports, and now we are so excited to launch our very own global esports directory and marketplace housed under one influential brand. Known for facilitating partnerships across the esports industry, we wanted to find a way to support businesses at scale and we’re hoping ESI Directory will offer this,” said Sam Cooke, co-founder and MD at Esports Insider.
