LDN UTD, the UK-based esports organisation that uses gaming and esports to address social issues, have announced a host of new talent.

LDN UTD have signed a Valorant roster, with some of these players formerly playing under the ‘Unsigned’ banner.

The Valorant roster consists of Adam ‘Jesse’ Čtvrtníček, Geoff ‘M1sfit’ Woodward, Josh ‘Neph’ Munro,  Ondřej ‘Monsteerr’ Petrů and Jack ‘Kpiz’ Pragnell.

Kpiz has won Versus Legends, LVP – Genesis Cup Sombras and, along with Neph, has also won two Valhalla Invitationals. Jesse, M1sfit and Neph have also won the Rix.gg Kick Off community tournament.

LDN UTD say they will use the roster ‘to assist in discovering and training grassroots talent and spearhead the strategy to discover, develop and nurture LDN’s promising grassroots Valorant talent, whilst ensuring that we encourage women, minorities, and the under privileged to participate in gaming’.

M1sfit said: “It is no secret that we have been free agents for some time, and looking to find the right organisation we believe can support us, with the right infrastructure and develop our potential.

“LDN UTD may not be known in the Valorant community, but their credibility in the campaigns they have held, and their existing talent, convinced us they would be a good home for us.”

“We’re all excited to represent LDN UTD and of course encourage the grassroots talent to join LDN UTD and learn from us.”

Oliver Weingarten, CEO of LDN UTD, added: “Given the explosive growth of Valorant, we have been looking at entering Valorant for some time. However we always needed the right opportunity, that made sense for LDN UTD. Having gotten to know Jesse, M1sfit, Neph, Monsteerr, and Kpiz, we have been impressed by their drive to succeed but also recognition of what LDN UTD stands for and wanting to help us grow our mission to raise awareness of the issues we address, and encourage gamers of all backgrounds to engage with us.”

Earlier this month, LDN UTD brought on board Shauna Games as an ambassador.

Shauna is well-known for her FIFA streams and is one of few UK women content creators focused on FIFA.

Elsewhere, UK Fortnite professional Max ‘Magin’ Merrien has joined LDN UTD.

At the age of 18, Magin is renowned as a Fortnite veteran with total winnings of over $95,000 and a social media following of over 226,000. Magin achieved second place at ESL Katowice and first place in Fortnite’s Summer Skirmish Series.

Magin said: “I’ve been a free agent for some time, looking at various orgs to join, however when LDN UTD approached me and set out their vision and support for me, and the wider industry, I was convinced this would be a good home for me.

“I’m looking forward to competing for LDN UTD and supporting their campaigns to raise awareness of pertinent social issues. There is a strong pool of Fortnite talent in the UK and if I can be a role model and encourage or nurture that talent, then that is a strong positive for me.”

LDN UTD now compete in League of Legends (in the UKEL), FIFA, Fortnite, Valorant and Dota 2.

Last month LDN UTD appointed Lord Sugar’s adviser and PR guru to their advisory board and commenced a new funding round.
