London Spitfire’s Flight School online esports camp returns this month, with pro players and coaches offering advice to gamers

Overwatch League team London Spitfire have teamed up with US-based esports events provider Nerd Street Gamers for another online esports camp.

The second London Spitfire Flight School: Powered by Nerd Street Gamers will take place from February 15th to 19th through Discord, where gamers aged 13 and up will have ‘the opportunity to participate in a structured online curriculum featuring members of the Spitfire team’.

Spitfire general manager Noukky, Spitfire coaches CommanderX and Reprize, as well as players Molf1g, Hybrid, Hadi, Kellex will join the camp and provide insight and advice to attendees.

Spitfire Flight School: Powered by Nerd Street Gamers will provide campers with various skills to improve their gaming abilities and other aspects of their lives, including teamwork, communication and staying calm under pressure.

Training will take place from 10am to 3pm GMT each day from Feb 15th to 19th, and will include match and macro reviews, esports seminars, guest talks and tournament play.

“The structured environment will allow participants to learn about the fundamentals of competitive gaming, map and game strategy, and team dynamics,” read a press release.

It costs £99 per person to attend the Flight School, or £149 for a Plus Ticket, which also includes a Spitfire home jersey, cap, socks, pop-socket, tote bag and lanyard.

The activity has been made after Excel Esports shareholder Guinevere Capital partnered with London Spitfire owners Cloud9 last year, in a bid to ‘increase London Spitfire’s connection to the UK and Europe’.
