Red Reserve qualify for CWL stage two playoffs

RR Playoffs 1

UK Call of Duty team, Red Reserve, have qualified for the playoffs for the CWL Pro League.

Heading into the final week of matches, Europe’s top Call of Duty team stood at the top of Division A. Needing just one victory to book their place in the playoffs, Rhys “Rated” Price, Trei “Zer0” Morris, Joe “Joee” Pinnington and Matthew “Skrapz” Marshall took the initiative and booked their place with a comfortable win against a winless Epsilon team.
Needing to win their remaining three matches to secure the top seed, Red would take on Team Kaliber. The North Americans managed to take the victory in a deciding game five, meaning that Red could miss out on the top seed.
A clash against Team Envy on the final day of the regular season went all the way down to another deciding game five. This time, Red managed to secure the victory thanks to a solid performance from main AR player, Rated.
Could this be the chance for a European team to win a CWL tournament in 2018? A UK team has featured in four Grand Finals throughout the season and have fallen at the final hurdle.
The CWL Stage Two playoffs will consist of eight teams from Division A and B competing for a share of a $500,000 prize pool that is up for grabs.
