Ubisoft reveals Rainbow Six Siege documentary featuring UK coach Shas[O]Udas

During Ubisoft’s anual E3 press conference a brand new Rainbow Six Siege documentary was revealed and it will feature Thomas “Shas[O]Udas” Lee, the British head coach of reigning world champions PENTA Sports.
The documentary, titled Another Mindset, will follow eight members of the pro Rainbow Six community throughout a number of key events during a nine month period. But this isn’t all focused on players, with coaches, managers, streamers, casters and analysts all being in a featured role.
In the trailer we hear Shas[O]Udas say that he has been doing this since season one of year one, but only recently has the work started to pay off as his team started to win events consistently. This is shown alongside footage of PENTA winning the Six Invitational earlier in the year.
Alongside Shas[O]Udas familiar faces such as pro players Niclas “Pengu” Mouritzen and Niklas “Willkey” Ojalainen will be featured, as well as some more unexpected names such as Nicolle “Cherrygumms” Merhy, the CEO of Black Dragons e-Sports and analyst Alex “z1ronic” Dalgaard-Hansen.
Another Mindset is set to launch sometime during the Paris Major, which takes place between August 13th and 19th. We would put money on it being released towards the latter stages of the tournament.
The documentary wasn’t the only Siege related announcement at the E3 conference. Ubisoft also revealed that Siege now has 35 million players, with community developer Justin Kruger saying that he wishes he could hug every single one of them.
It was also revealed that the next Pro League finals will return to Brazil in November of this year. After the success of the Year 2 Season 3 finals in São Paulo last year that really isn’t a surprise, especially with Europe getting the Paris Major and Montreal getting the Six Invitational this season.
