UK esports event provider epic.LAN is calling on Overwatch players and teams to attend epic.20, which takes place in Kettering next month.
There will be up to £2,000 up for grabs in prizes, plus tickets to the next epic event.
The event runs from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th February, and the Overwatch tournament will feature a maximum of 16 teams in a group stage and double elimination format. There’s more specific details on the epic website.
epic.LAN esports manager Tom “Gumpster” Gumbleton said in a Facebook post: “We would love it if teams and players could come down and show their support and play at Kettering Conference Centre.
“Overwatch has been an incredible success across the board, and we have given the OW community a chance to grow and prosper going forward this year.
“There are 208 tickets remaining, and a whole hall dedicated to just Overwatch players/teams, so why not get involved?”
Gumpster also shared this video tour of epic.LAN, which provides a more in-depth look at the event:

Aside from Overwatch, there will be a CSGO tournament with up to £3,000 in prizes, a Dota 2 competition also with a max of £3,000 up for grabs, a £1,000 StarCraft II tournament and a £500 Hearthstone one.
They have still abandoned League of Legends and this makes us sad.
However, other activities include a pub quiz on the Friday night, a board games area, bar, games consoles and a social/chill-out area.
Spectator passes start at £10 while BYOC participant tickets cost from £69.
