Team Dignitas qualify for $75,000 Overwatch MGA Regional Finals

UK-based (and US-owned) eSports organisation Team Dignitas have qualified for the $75,000 Overwatch MSI MGA 2016 Regional Finals.
Regional finals – to be streamed online – will take place on October 14th to 15th (Americas), 17th to 18th (Europe) and 20th and 21st (Asia).
Dignitas will be competing to qualify for the grand finals at the Gfinity Arena in London on December 7th and 8th.
Teams from 46 countries enrolled in this year’s event. Here are the top eight teams entering Regional Finals from each region:

Americas:

  • Q
  • Team Liquid

Europe:

  • The Gatekeepers
  • Team LDLC
  • ALTERNATE aTTaX

Asia:

  • MVP Space
  • DetonatioN Gaming Team
  • Mineski
  • Alter Ego
  • ACE White

MSI has invited casters Riku and Asurai, as well as commentator Jayce “Jaeger” Alexander Stewart (Jaeger), to broadcast the event together with Justin “Vill” Villaseran.

Three final teams (one from each region) will be eligible for Grand Finals at Gfinity Arena.

The final champions can walk away with a $40,000 cash prize. Second place, third place and fourth place will be awarded $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.

The news comes as Dignitas released Seb “numlocked” Barton and Artur “art1er” Bischof from their Overwatch roster following “disappointing results”.

The Regional Finals and Grand Finals will be broadcast live on Twitch by MSI here.
