Rocket League scooped three awards at the 2016 BAFTA Games Awards yesterday – for best family, sports and multiplay game – and more eSports events for the game are getting underway in the UK.
PC components maker MSI UK and retailer Scan Computers are teaming up to host a community tournament at Scan Computers in Bolton on April 16th.
The pair will be celebrating MSI’s 30 year anniversary. They will also be demonstrating a range of products available for people visiting Scan on the day.
For those interested in coming to Bolton, the (glorious) hometown of eSports News UK’s very own Craig Robinson, then you can apply for the tournament or enter their free raffle here.
The raffle contains various peripherals, motherboards and other random merchandise that you can get your hands on.
For those interested in competing in the tournament, then you can be in the chance of winning an MSI Laptop, GT Omega racing chair with MSI branding, a Skylake motherboard and a headset, depending on where you finish.
There is also a cosplay competition, where the winner can take home a graphics card. To apply for this you can just walk in wearing your costume and you will automatically be entered into the competition.
The tournament is scheduled to start at 10am and finish at around 5pm, depending on the time it takes to get to the finals.
For those attending the event, then good luck in your competition(s) and the raffle – and maybe we’ll get to see you there.
