Ding! Leet Games Blog has just levelled up.
From now on we’re going to be placing a larger focus on game tips, tricks and guides to help you master your favourite games and beat your opponents into a squishy paste.
Sick of all those kids on Modern Warfare 2? Want to make your character more effective in Borderlands? Maybe you’re tired of getting killed in Demon’s Souls?
However you want to improve, Leet is here to help. We’re going to use our 20+ years of experience to help you boost your gaming.
Don’t get us wrong – there’ll be no cheating here (with the exception of extremely difficult games). We’ll just give you the essential tips and tricks to get ahead, whether it’s landing perfect headshots in Halo or finding that secret boss in Dragon Age. Think GamesMaster in blog form.
We’ve already given you these little gems – they’ll give you an idea of what to expect in the future:
- Street Fighter 4: Moves and combo guide
- Fallout 3 walkthrough
- Five easy ways to boost your gamerscore
- Top Ten Puzzle Quest 2 Tips
- Essential raid leading tips
- Save money on Xbox Live points
And we’ll still be bringing you news, features, previews and reviews – but with a focus on the biggest and most important games. There are hundreds of sites out there with 24-hour dedicated editorial teams, so we’ll leave the news hunts to them (Hello MCV, Eurogamer and Joystiq), and give you something which is harder to be taught – the skill of a top gamer.
We’ve got lots of exciting ideas planned and are starting things off later this week with a quick run-down of the basics of Final Fantasy XIII. As time goes on we aim to incorporate video walkthroughs and picture-led guides. Watch this space.
If you have any requests, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’re an expert gamer – even for a certain genre or series – or you’d like help with a specific game, we’d like to hear from you.
It’s time to make this blog earn its name – let’s go make some elite gamers.
