UK-based online publication and events business Esports Insider is preparing to host another edition of ESI Digital purely online in a few days’ time.
Taking place on December 1st and 2nd 2021, ESI Digital Winter is the sixth edition of ESI’s digital events programme, promising a mix of networking, education and talks for those in the industry.
ESI Digital Winter will bring together industry leaders in esports, sports and global brands to discuss and debate esports trends, opportunities and more.
The agenda includes speakers from the likes of Halo Esports/343 Industries, Nerd Street, Belong Gaming Arenas, Omnicoach, Square Enix, Hi-Rez Studios, T1 Entertainment & Sports, Nuvei and BMW Group, among others.
Some of the currently confirmed topics and speakers include the following:
- Growing the ESL Pro League? – featuring ESL Gaming, ESL Pro League, Fnatic and Berlin International Gaming
- A session by Omnicoach looking at how esports teams can better embrace AI for fan engagement
- ‘Gaming for Global Good’ – featuring BMW Group, Veritas Entertainment and others
Other speakers include ESL Pro League commissioner Alex Inglot, Belong Gaming Arenas VP of strategy Mary Antieul, Fnatic chief gaming officer Patrik ‘cArn’ Sättermon, Halo esports and viewership lead Tahir Hasandjekic and more.
The news comes after in-person event ESI London 2021 took place in Wembley earlier this month.
Alongside ESI Digital Winter, which is sponsored by Grid Esports, Omnicoach and Nuvei, the digital conference will also include the fourth edition of the ESI Hall of Fame in partnership with Gaming Malta, an ongoing project created to recognise and award those individuals who have built, moulded and continue to shape the esports industry.
Past Hall of Fame inductees include Naz Aletaha (Riot Games), Marcus ‘Djwheat’ Graham (Twitch), and Jason ‘1’ Lake (Complexity Gaming), amongst others.
Registered attendees will gain access to all 16+ hours of content, both live and in post-event VoD format. Tickets cost £72 each or £61.20 when purchasing at least three tickets at once.
