Do you want to know how to transfer your Pokémon from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 or White 2 to Pokémon X or Y?
Using the Pokémon Bank and PokéMover apps on the 3DS, we’ll show you how. And if you do it before September 30th, you’ll get a free Celebi legendary Pokémon.
1. Go into the Nintendo 3DS e-shop and download the Pokémon Bank and PokéMover apps.
2. Open Pokémon Bank and follow the steps to set it up. You’ll need to agree to the terms and conditions and enter the trial period or pay the £4.49 annual subscription up front. You may also need to set up a Nintendo Network ID, if so, follow the steps on screen to complete this.
2. Load up Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 or White 2. Log into the game’s PC and fill box 1 with the Pokémon you want to transfer to X or Y. Save the game and go back to the 3DS’ main screen.
3. Open PokéMover. Select the Pokémon for transfer and they will move to Pokémon Bank.
4. Open Pokémon Bank. You will see all your Pokémon from Black/White in the Transfer Box at the top. Press start to change the colour of your cursor to green. This will let you select all 30 Pokémon in the Transfer Box at once.
5. Move the Pokémon down to the box you want in X or Y. Save and quit Pokémon Bank.
6. Load Pokémon X or Y. Select ‘Pokémon Link’ on the options menu to collect your Pokémiles or Battle Points.
7. Start up the game proper and access the in-game PC. You should see the Pokémon you transferred sitting in the box you chose.
8. Repeat as many times as you like to transfer all the Pokémon you want over from Black/White to Bank, and then X or Y. The next time you use Pokémon Bank, your Celebi will be ready. Make sure you select ‘Pokémon Link’ the next time you load up X/Y to collect it.
Note: You won’t be able to transfer over all special Pokémon or non-legitimate Pokémon
