Fnatic reveal Delta Force roster, to feature in showmatch with Nickmercs and ZywOo

Fnatic has officially entered Delta Force esports by signing its RISE roster ahead of the new extraction based esports event mode. Delta Force’s official gaming channel also revealed a high profile showcase match called Goat Hunt, airing June 30th at 7PM BST on Delta Force’s official Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, X and Facebook channels. The showcase will feature four teams in total, with Nick ”Nickmercs” Kolcheff leading one squad and Vitality’s CS AWPer Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut  leading another.

Fnatic sign Delta Force roster

Fnatic’s new Delta Force roster features FNC RaidBull, FNC Bayn and FNC Djaem, announced via the org’s official X account alongside the message “no room for error” as they drop into Delta Force Esports.

The roster is signed for the RISE esports event, which takes place in Delta Force’s extraction mode. It puts teams of three into various maps, offering players the opportunity to earn rewards, progression and more. Delta Force is clearly going down the esports route, perhaps a natural evolution for the genre.

But before that happens, Fnatic and Liquid players are part of the upcoming showcase match later tonight. The showcase itself is shaping up to be a star-studded event. Goat Hunt splits the lobby into Team Goat, Team Shepherd and Team Wolf, with a collection of named wolf duos featuring some serious firepower.

CS2 legend ZywOo headlines Team Goat alongside FNC Raidbull and Wiserious. Nickmercs leads Team Shepherd alongside Marksman and Poach. Other Fnatic players are on Team Wolf C, while Team Liquid’s roster, featuring the likes of Mendo, make up their own Wolf team.

It’s a nice way of bridging various shooter IPs together, with an interesting showmatch featuring multiple big names. It comes as Nickmercs has been variety streaming SAND, and now Delta Force, while ZywOo is on a break following Vitality’s exit from the Cologne Major last weekend. It also comes as Delta Force drops its recent big update, alongside running other creator events and competitions, with Twitch Drops for these events also on the line.
