McDonalds UK get special Xbox cross-over menu and rewards

McDonald’s has launched a limited-edition Xbox gaming-themed menu across the UK. The menu, now known as a side mission, is bringing new food items themed around some of Xbox’s biggest franchises alongside exclusive in-game rewards through the McDonald’s app.

Each menu item is tied to a specific game, and customers can use their McDonald’s Reward points to unlock exclusive in-game items across those same titles. You can earn reward points for signing up with a special bonus, or just continue ordering as normal if you’re a Maccies fan. Those points can then be spent on items as normal, or get some DLC stuff for the games you may already be playing.

McDonald’s x Xbox Gaming Rewards

Spending your Reward points through the McDonald’s app unlocks the following in-game items:

• Forza Horizon 6: A car voucher letting players add a new vehicle to their collection
• Fallout 76: A Sugar Bomb Bundle packed with themed in-game goodies
• World of Warcraft: A Red Hot Portable Bakery backpiece transmog cosmetic, a fan-favourite limited-time item making a special return
• Overwatch: Kiriko’s Sugar Donut
• Candy Crush: A Candy Crush Choco McFlurry in-game tie-in
• Halo – Campaign Evolved: Master Chief Armour

Daily deals will also be available through the McDonald’s app throughout the promotion.

Each item on the limited-edition menu is themed around a specific Xbox title. There’s not many, but they do come in different portion sizes from what we have gathered.

The menu is available now across UK and Ireland restaurants but is limited time only. If you want to try it and grab those in-game rewards, you will need to get in before it is game over.
