South Park Fortnite skins set to hit the store in latest collaboration: All You Need to Know

A long-awaited collaboration is finally arriving: South Park Fortnite skins will hit the store on January 9th.

What are the skins and cosmetics available in the collaboration, what is the new five-player mode, and where can players find the Cartmanland POI?

What will be included in the South Park Fortnite collaboration?

Fortnite has already dropped several major pop culture collaborations in Chapter 7 so far, including the recent expansion of their Hollywood skins to include Pulp Fiction and a Back to the Future collaboration with DeLorean time-travel themed in-game additions. 

An animated short released by Fortnite on January 7th introduced players to many aspects of the South Park Fortnite collaboration, including a first look at the hotly anticipated South Park Fortnite skins.

Alongside the Fortnite skins, the South Park collaboration will also bring new in-game items and a fresh map POI for players to explore. 

Notably, the collaboration also launches Fortnite’s first ever five player squad mode, inspired by the franchise. This five player squad mode is available in a Battle Royale playlist known as Quints. 

According to Epic Games, the Quints game mode will be available for the duration of the South Park Fortnite event.

The collaboration begins on Friday, January 9th, and runs until Thursday, February 5th.

When do the South Park Fortnite skins drop in the Fortnite shop?

The South Park Fortnite cosmetics and bundle are likely to become available when the Fortnite shop’s daily reset occurs. 

Usually, this takes place at the following times regionally: 

• North America (PT) 16:00, January 9th
• North America (ET) 19:00, January 9th
• UK (GMT) 00:00, January 10th
• Europe (CET) 01:00, January 10th 
• Japan (JST) 09:00, January 10th
• Australia (AUS) 10:00, January 10th

Which themed items will appear in the Battle Royale mode, and where is the Cartmanland POI?

In addition to the South Park skins, the collaboration will add a mythic item, consumable, and POI to the Battle Royale game mode. 

The Stick of Truth will be South Park’s in-game mythic item, which is rumoured to have some form of impact on the storm. Cheesy Poofs will also be available as a consumable, granting players a health and speed boost. 

Finally, the Wonkeeland POI will be transformed into Cartmanland for the duration of the collaboration.

Therefore, Cartmanland will be discoverable near the North to North-East edge of the Battle Royale map.
