Update (February 27th 2025): The casters for the NLC Winter 2025 LAN final weekend in Nottingham have been revealed, with UK talent Eragon joining them.
Original article (published January 4th 2025):
Familiar faces have been reunited for the Arozzi Northern League of Legends Championship NLC 2025 broadcast talent line-up.
UK caster Jamada and Greek talent Troubleinc return to the NLC broadcast after three years, with a different NLC caster line-up stepping in for 2023.
They join the likes of Portuguese host Archarom, UK talent Foxdrop, Initialise, Hiprain and Middlecott, plus Danish caster Duckling and Russian caster Solari on the broadcast for the UK and Nordics LoL EMEA Regional League.
Initialise said: “WE’RE GETTING THE BAND BACK TOGETHER! Excited to be back casting for the NLC again this year; it’s gonna be a BIG one.”
Foxdrop commented: “Excited to be back as always, this gonna be an especially exciting split!”
Solari added: “Unbelievable to see my face in this stacked line-up, but heyo 2025 is NLC Solari arc! ONE OF THE BOYS. Thank you NLC for trusting me to tell your exciting stories in 2025, I can only hope I’ll do you proud.”
Jamada also said:
“Back where it all started for me. I’m excited to be a part of the team covering the NLC! I think I’ve picked a pretty cool time to be back too. See you on the show!”

As with any broadcast in esports, however, on-air talent is a competitive field, and the line-up means some sadly missed out. These include 2024 NLC talent Roodood and Eragon, with the latter moving up to the LEC in 2024.
Roodood said: “NLC decided there wasn’t space for me on the talent team this time round. NLC is my home region and had been a home for the last two years, so this was deeply saddening when I found out. Still, there is some great talent here and people should be looking forward to an exciting split.”
Veteran also has a new role in the 2025 NLC as Ecosystem Developer, and has worked on the new NLC format for 2025.
Veteran said: “Those of you watching my stream know I’ve been wanting to move into this sort of thing for a while. My many, many, MANY rants on sports business, localisation, and ERL development all get a shot at implementation now. If I get my stuff through, I promise an NLC in the lead.
“The reaction to the new NLC format pretty much led to this job, so thank you all so much for that. That format was discussed months back, this job only just started now. Genuinely excited. NLC presents unique challenges compared to most regions, and require unique solution.
“Oh and I will still watch every EMEA region. I view that as MORE of a necessity now. Not less. You’ll still get some content from me.”
The news comes a few days after it was confirmed that Caedrel’s team, Los Ratones, would be joining the NLC for 2025, with organisers Leagues Media telling Esports News UK it will be the league’s biggest year yet.
All the recent news around the NLC marks somewhat of a revival for the UK and Nordics region, after former organisers Freaks 4U shut down grassroots national leagues three years ago, and the NLC was demoted to a non-accredited ERL in late 2022.
