Some of the UK’s best collegiate esports teams will gather in Nottingham this weekend to compete in the British Esports Student Champs Grand Finals 2024 LAN.
When, where, tickets and other key info
The event will take place at Confetti X on July 6th and 7th 2024, from 10.30am to around 6pm BST each day. The venue consists of a 100-seater 4,000sq ft esports stage and content studio, and is home to the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, which is a part of Nottingham Trent University.
Teams of students aged 12+ will compete in League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League and Overwatch 2. They’ve been competing in the Student Champs 23/24 season, and the leading team from the North Division will face-off against the top South Division side in each game.
Teams have also had access to British Esports’ National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland. Teams will take part in bootcamp sessions to practise in person ahead of the big day, complemented by dedicated sessions for media and content creation.
There will also be audience showmatches on both days.
The schedule is as follows:
The finals will be broadcast on the British Esports Twitch channel, and tickets for the in-person event can be booked from the Student Champs 2024 finals Eventbrite page.
