Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont’s Los Ratones made their debut in LEC Versus but recorded a winless start to the season.
The former EMEA Masters winners lost to Fnatic, Karmine Corp Blue, and Karmine Corp and sit bottom of the table as the only winless team.
However, Los Ratones showed signs of life in a gutsy performance against KCorp, which has given fans hope.

Many expected Los Ratones to struggle making the jump up from the ERLs to LEC.
Especially as the Season 2026 meta has brought a snowballing, laning-game focus to the meta, while Los Ratones have typically struggled early.
The three-time NLC champions started the week with a loss to a new-look Fnatic, despite holding their own in the early game.
Rookie jungler Veljko ‘Velja’ Čamdžić got caught, and that alone allowed Fnatic to run away with their lead.
However, the loss to KCorp Blue especially stung as Los Ratones wanted revenge for last season’s 3-0 EMEA Masters elimination.
A few costly mistakes meant Los Ratones lost to their ERL counterparts, on paper their easiest match-up, and face an uphill battle from here.
After those two results, facing KCorp’s main team was expected to be much too difficult.
Yet, Los Ratones had their best performance of the season so far.

Velja looked more comfortable, and he was combining well with Tim ‘Nemesis’ Lipovšek with some clever Orianna combos.
Despite their lead, Los Ratones couldn’t get a real foothold on objectives and the map.
Eventually, KCorp were able to get Baron and win a teamfight and that was enough to end Los Ratones’ hopes.
Los Ratones’ pick comp just couldn’t take down Caliste ‘Caliste’ Henry-Hennebert ‘s Aphelios
What is next for Los Ratones?
Best LR game in LEC yet. Loved the proactivity from them throughout midgame even though they didn't manage to close it off this time

Completely different look. Lets hope they can keep it up/improve on it for future weeks
As Caedrel and Juš ‘Crownie’ Marušič said, everygame has been winnable for Los Ratones.
And there is still plenty of time to go as Los Ratones have another nine teams to face and only need to finish in the top eight to get into the Playoffs.
Every team has lost at least once so Caedrel’s team still have a chance of climbing up the standings.
And next week will be a huge opportunity with a much easier schedule than this difficult opener.
Los Ratones will play against GIANTX, Team Heretics, and Shifters – three teams which have all been inconsistent.
GIANTX have looked disappointing in their games, considering they kept last year’s roster and should have better synergy.
Meanwhile, Heretics were looking rough after losing to Natus Vincere and Shifters, only to then shockingly stop Movistar KOI.
Best-of-ones in the current format are very volatile, with games snowballing out of control. Expect more upsets.
