LEC confirms five Roadtrips for 2026 with returns to France and Spain

Riot Games has confirmed that the LEC will be going on more ‘Roadtrips’ in 2026 with five live events.

Introduced last year, Roadtrips see LEC teams step up and host arena shows away from Riot’s usual base of Berlin.

Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp will bring LEC shows to Spain and France in 2026, including the LEC Versus finals.

This means there will be six LEC arena shows in total this year, including the Summer Championship finals at an unannounced location.

While some may complain that the Roadtrips will only be hosted in Spain and France again, it appears that other LEC teams didn’t step up.

The way these events work is that the LEC team takes full control of the event, hence why MKOI and KCorp have stayed close to home.

Though unlike last year’s events, this year the Roadtrips will be extended into three-day events.

No more awkward Day 3s inside the Riot Games Arena feel much quieter after the big arena shows the day prior.

Movistar KOI’s LEC 2026 Roadtrips in Spain

• LEC Versus Finals (February 27th – March 1st, 2026), Barcelona, Spain
• LEC Spring Roadtrip by Movistar KOI (May 8th – 10th, 2026), Madrid, Spain
• LEC Summer Roadtrip by Movistar KOI (September 4th – 6th, 2026), Madrid, Spain

MKOI are hosting three Roadtrips this year, one for each split, and all of them will be in Spain.

For the first time ever, the LEC will come to Barcelona, which will also host the finals weekend for the inaugural LEC Versus finals.

This is the first time that an LEC Roadtrip has been used to host a Playoffs event, let alone the finals.

However, the LEC Spring finals currently seem set to remain in Berlin’s Riot Games.

Two of them will be back in Madrid, the Spanish capital, where MKOI hosted an event last April.

The LEC Summer Season finals were also held in Madrid last year, though that was held in the larger Caja Mágica venue, which also hosts the Madrid Open tennis tournament.

Following last year’s MKOI Roadtrip, LEC pros began begging for the league to relocate to Madrid despite a power cut during the event.

Karmine Corp’s LEC 2026 Roadtrips in France

• LEC Spring Roadtrip by Karmine Corp (April 24 – 26), Évry-Courcouronnes, France
• LEC Summer Roadtrip by Karmine Corp (TBC)

KCorp are also hosting a couple of Road Trips this year, one in Spring and another in the Summer.

The Spring Roadtrip will see another three days of LEC games hosted in KCorp’s own venue: Les Arenes.

The venue is located in Évry-Courcouronnes, just on the outskirts of Paris.

Meanwhile, the Summer Roadtrip is yet to have its details confirmed, though it’s expected to be somewhere in France.
