Kylian Mbappé and Lucy Bronze captain EA FC 26 Team of the Year

EA Sports has revealed the men’s and women’s Team of the Year cards for Ultimate Team on EA FC 26.

EA FC 26 players have cast their votes, and now 22 ridiculous FUT cards are being added to the game.

For the first time ever both teams have a captain, decided via a separate vote, though this doesn’t seem to impact the cards.

Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Chelsea’s Lucy Bronze are the selected TOTY captains as EA “celebrates players who defined 2025.”

EA FC 26 Women’s TOTY

Bronze had an excellent year, playing through injury to help England’s Lionesses win the European Championships.

“Being named the first ever Women’s EA SPORTS FC TOTY Captain is an honour,” said the Chelsea & England right-back. 

“Getting the nod from the fans means a lot to me. 2025 was an amazing year – winning the Euros again and picking up my first BWSL with Chelsea – so much of that success is thanks to our fans, and it’s great to see them recognise my efforts with this award.”

Other notable cards in the team include a 95-rated card for Claudia Pina, the overpowered player who has terrorised Ultimate Team this year.

If you’re lucky enough to pack her, you’re guaranteed more as long as you use the strongest EA FC 26 formations and tactics.

Meanwhile, the highest rated are the 97 overall cards of BALLON D’Or winner Aitana Bonmatí and Arsenal striker Alessia Russo.

EA FC 26 Men’s TOTY

The men’s TOTY also features a lot of monstrous cards, with 96-rated captain Mbappe undoubtedly a menace.

There were some surpirse exceptions, like Paris Saint-Germain’s Achraf Hakimi and Napoli’s Scott McTominay.

But EA FC players are always going to vote for who they want to play with, not who was the best footballer of the last year.

And the exempt players will still have chances to get cards later, like Ireland hero Troy Parrott’s Star Performer card after missing Team of the Week.

EA FC 2026 TOTY schedule

EA Sports has revealed the schedule for when TOTY and associated item cards will be available in Ultimate Team packs.

As well as the TOTY XIs, there will also be a 12th player for both teams, honourable mentions, and TOTY Icons.

The release schedule for when these cards will be available in packs is as follows:

• TOTY Defenders + GK – Jan 20-22
