The 15th League of Legends World Championships will get underway next month with a ton of phenomenal teams.
Competition has been fierce this year, particularly with First Stand adding a third international event to the LoL esports schedule.
Now, Riot Games’ tier list has revealed that only three teams have managed to maintain a series win-rate above 80%.
And one of them is the biggest surpirse package of the year, CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) from APAC’s LCP.
The Taiwanese organisation has had an incredible 2025 after CFO won the LCP with a flawless run.
In fact, CFO are the only team in the world who have attended all three of First Stand, MSI, and Worlds this year.
The team finished fourth at First Stand, fifth at MSI, and head into Worlds 2025 as three-time LCP champions this year.
CFO’s historic MSI performance fed fried chicken to 2,000 LoL fans after they did better than LoL’s Taiwanese Facebook page expected.
As a result of this dominant year and impressive international showings, CFO have recorded an 86.1% win with a record of 31-5.

This puts them at second overall in the global win-rate.
Following closely behind is LTA North’s FlyQuest with a win-rate of 82.8% and a 24-5 record.
While still impressive, this does showcase how few series have been played in the LTA this year.
And it really puts into perspective how impressive Gen.G’s record is.
The Korean team have played more games and faced harder opposition, yet still have a better win-rate than any other team in the world.
Gen.G has recorded a ridiuclous 87% win-rate with a record of 40-6 heading into the LCK Playoffs.
The MSI 2025 champions are in remarkable form, though a surprise 3-2 loss to KT Rolster earlier this month proves they’re not invincible.

The LoL World Championships start in October and, at the time of writing, only three places are left to fill.
In the LEC, there is one spot still up for grabs, which will be decided between Karmine Corp and Fnatic.
Karmine Corp had a good start to the year but faltered after struggling at First Stand.
Meanwhile, Fnatic haven’t attended an international event this year but have performed better than you might think.
Remarkably, Fnatic has the highest win rate of all LEC teams at 71%.
This shows that Fnatic have repeatedly choked during big matches in 2025 so far.
The other two slots will go to LPL teams competing in the Regional Finals.
Top Esports, Invictus Gaming, Weibo Gaming, and JD Gaming will all compete for the final two places.
