AGON by AOC – one of the world’s leading gaming monitor and IT accessories brands – has launched the AG276QZD2 and AG326UD – the latest additions to the AGON PRO series.
First unveiled to the press at this year’s Gamescom expo, these cutting-edge gaming monitors feature QD-OLED panels, with the 26.7″ (67.8 cm) AG276QZD2 (pictured above) offering a QHD (2560×1440) resolution at an esports-grade 240 Hz refresh rate and the 31.5″ (80 cm).
And the AG326UD delivering a sharp UHD (3840×2160) resolution at a stunning 165 Hz, both with incredibly fast response times of up to 0.03 ms GtG.
These pro gamer monitors offer practically infinite contrast ratios thanks to the per-pixel-illumination of the QD-OLED panels, perfect black levels, and wide colour gamuts, making them excellent choices for competitive gamers who demand both visual excellence and exceptional performance.
State-of-the-art QD-OLED technology with DisplayHDR True Black 400
The AGON PRO AG276QZD2 and AG326UD utilise advanced QD-OLED panels, providing unprecedented contrast ratios compared to traditional LCD monitors, as well as true-to-life colours with perfect blacks and wide viewing angles. The 3rd generation QD-OLED panels implemented in these models offer improved text clarity and additional QD-OLED care functionalities.
Both monitors feature 10-bit colour depth, displaying 1.07 billion colours for exceptional visual fidelity. The rich colour reproduction makes the monitors extremely versatile for everyday use and professional applications such as content creation, image editing and more. The displays’ ultra-fast response times and low input lag, as well as Adaptive-Sync support (incl. NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility for the AG276QZD2), ensure smooth, responsive gameplay across all genres.
Featuring the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification as well as support for a peak brightness of 1000 nits (in small areas), both monitors deliver stunning visuals and outstanding colour accuracy, resulting in an immersive gaming environment for fast-paced action titles, visually-rich RPGs, or graphically-demanding simulations.
The wide colour gamuts ensure vibrant and realistic colours, bringing every frame to life on-screen, making these monitors equally capable for professional use and entertainment purposes. Furthermore, both models are backed by a 3-year warranty covering OLED burn-in.
Tailored to different competitive needs
The new AG276QZD2, featuring a 27″ QHD display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, caters to esports enthusiasts and FPS players who prioritise speed and fluid motion above all.
The AG326UD, with its 31.5″ UHD display and 165 Hz refresh rate, is perfect for gamers who require high detail and a larger field of view, ideal for RPG, action, strategy games or simulation titles, and content creation.
The current AGON PRO line-up includes other OLED monitors aimed at different gaming audiences, too. The AGON PRO AG456UCZD features a 44.5″ UWQHD (3440×1440) OLED display with an aggressive 800R curvature and 240 Hz refresh rate, enveloping the users’ field of view for extreme immersion in racing or flight simulation titles.
The Porsche Design AGON PRO PD49 boasts a unique, award-winning premium design inspired by the exterior elements of the Porsche 911 and is equipped with a 48.8″ DQHD (5120×1440) QD-OLED panel, a gentle 1800R curvature and 240 Hz refresh rate, practically replacing a 27″ dual-monitor setup and offering a super-wide canvas for simulation titles as well as increased productivity.
One of the most affordable OLED models, the AGON PRO AG276QZD uses a 26.5″ W-OLED panel with QHD (2560×1440) resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate, highly suited for fast-paced esports titles such as FPS, MOBA, RPG, or battle royale games.
At this year’s gamescom, AGON by AOC had a further announcement next to the AG276QZD2 and AG2326UD monitors. The new AGON PRO AG276QSG2 will be amongst the first gaming monitors to feature NVIDIA’s cutting-edge G-SYNC Pulsar technology. It also boasts a 27” (68.58 cm) QHD IPS display with a 360 Hz refresh rate and delivers exceptional motion clarity together with smooth and tear-free gaming.
Gamers don’t need to choose between variable refresh rate and strobing backlight technologies, as they can use both simultaneously with G-SYNC Pulsar. With this technology, the effective motion clarity of the AG276QSG2 is akin to a whopping 1440 Hz. To achieve a comparable level of motion clarity without G-SYNC Pulsar, gamers would need a classic panel capable of 1440 Hz. The AG276QSG2 is expected to be available in 2025.
Esports-ready design and customisation options
The AG276QZD2 and AG326UD showcase a sophisticated design with a focus on competitive gaming. Both models feature a 3-sides borderless design suited for multi-monitor setups and come equipped with AGON PRO’s innovative esports base. This low-profile, sturdy, and compact stand is specifically laid out to accommodate various keyboard and mouse placements preferred by competitive players.
The AG276QZD2 includes customisable Light FX RGB illumination, allowing users to create the perfect ambiance for their gaming setup or to match team colours during tournaments.
Versatile connectivity and features for daily comfort
Both monitors come equipped with a range of connectivity options to suit various setups. The AG276QZD2 provides 2x HDMI 2.0, 2x DisplayPort 1.4, and 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, while the AG326UD offers 2x HDMI 2.1, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, and 3x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbit) ports. Both models support Picture-by-Picture (PbP) and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) functionalities.
The monitors feature height-adjustable stands (HAS) with a 130 mm (AG276QZD2) or 150 mm (AG326UD) range, along with swivel, tilt and pivot options to promote ergonomic comfort during extended gaming sessions. The AG326UD is equipped with 2x 8 W speakers, while the AG276QZD includes 2x 5 W speakers for a full multimedia experience.
Players can easily control and customise the display settings by using AOC’s G-Menu software, which allows fine-tuning for optimal performance across various competitive titles. Gaming features in the OSD include a Frame Counter, or the Dynamic Dial Point feature, a customisable crosshair overlay that can change colour to remain visible against any background.
Pricing and availability
The AGON PRO AG276QZD2 and AG326UD have been available since September 2024, with the MSRP of £649.99 and £739.99, respectively.
