UK esports organisation and World of Warcraft raid group Method have announced details around their Race to World First (RWF) broadcast for Nerub’ar Palace.
This is the first raid in the new expansion, The War Within, which recently launched.
Once again, Method will go up against the likes of Liquid, Echo and other raiding teams, and race to be the first to clear the raid and defeat all of its bosses on Mythic difficulty.
Edit: Just after the publication of this article, it was reported that several raiders had been banned for four days over a reputation-gain exploit. They will be unbanned in time for the race.

‘Motivation is extremely high’ – Sco on Method’s chances and feelings going into the latest Race to World First
Method founder and CEO Scott ‘Sco’ McMillan also spoke about the Method raiding roster and his aims for this Race to World First in the video below.
On Method’s chances, he said: “Preparation seems to be going really well. To quote one of the offices at the moment, they said we’re blasting at the moment and very excited to see how we perform.
“So I’d say the motivation in the guild right now is extremely high, and everyone is really excited to get into the raid and prove what we can do. So hopefully this is the tier where we can challenge and compete for that world first again, so let’s see how it goes.
“I think everyone is really excited, myself included, and everything seems to be coming together well with the guild, so I’m looking forward to it.”
Sco also said he’s still retired as a player, following his retirement at the end of the Shadowlands expansion, where Method claimed the world second kill of The Jailer, and is now focusing more on building Method as an organisation.
