Into the Breach shows off limited edition jersey for R6 Manchester Major

The UK esports organisation are letting fans support the home country team at the Major with a special limited edition jersey.

Original article (May 2nd):

The Blast R6 Siege Manchester Major teams have been finalised, with G2 Esports taking the final spot out of the 20 teams.

It’s mixed news for UK Rainbow Six fans, as while it’s great to see UK esports organisation Into the Breach qualify for the event, other UK-based orgs Wolves and Fnatic missed out, as did Ireland’s Wylde.

From the Europe League, three teams qualified: Team BDS in first place, Into the Breach in second and Team Secret in third.

ITB said: “Manchester, meet your future UK roster champions. We’re coming for that trophy. Destiny beckons.”

Then, from the Europe Last Chance Qualifier, G2 beat Ence 2-0 in the final to progress.

Others in the Last Chance Qualifier, including Wolves, Fnatic, Ence, Virtus Pro, The Forgotten Days, Wylde and Make Your Destiny, all missed out.

Fnatic said: “End of the road for this leg at R6 EUL, as we fail to get it moving in the LCQ bracket. Good luck to all the teams in Manchester. In the meantime – we’ve got a lot of work to do.”

In terms of UK esports player talent at the Siege Manchester Major, there’s a mix, as expected. Into the Breach have a UK Siege core, with Creedz, oscrAzzr and Kendrew, plus Swedish player NoaUrz.

BDS have Yuzus, DarkZero has Nafe, M80 have CTZN and nudl, and G2 still have veteran player Doki.
