DotX Talent, the UK-based esports and gaming agency founded by Morgan Sports Law, is set to announce the signing of world-renowned esports host Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Depoortere.
Sjokz’s career in esports broadcasting dates back to the original EU LCS in 2013, and she has since established herself as a mainstay of both League of Legends and Counter-Strike.
Her skill in weaving narratives and dictating show flow with humour and grace has also been recognised with numerous industry awards, cementing her status as a multi-title esports icon.
Sjokz’s signing with talent agency DotX follows that of her LEC co-stars Laure Valée and Jake ‘Hysterics’ Osypenko in January of this year and December 2023, respectively.
DotX’s other clients include League of Legends personality Marc ‘Caedrel‘ Lamont, sim racing superstars Jimmy Broadbent and Steve ‘Super GT’ Alvarez Brown, and FPS host Sam ‘Tech Girl’ Wright.
Skokz said:
“Sjokz is one of the most impactful and inspiring figures in both League of Legends and the wider esports industry – we are delighted to be working with her,” added Nick Williams, Managing Director of DotX Talent.
Mitsouko Anderson, COO of DotX Talent, commented: “Welcoming such an iconic esports name to our already outstanding line-up of talent marks a significant step forward in our ongoing commitment to providing world-class representation.”
The announcement was made on International Women’s Day.
DotX Talent was launched at the start of 2022 by Morgan Sports Law. In July 2023, DotX announced the appointment of X7 founder Josh Kingett as its Head of Esports.
In that role, Josh has spearheaded the company’s recent expansion into the representation of professional League of Legends players.
