A McDonald’s gaming chair has been revealed, but is it only part of a limited promotion or has it been mass-produced – and can you buy it?
We asked McDonald’s direct for the answer, and have included all the details about its McCrispy Ultimate Gaming Chair below.
What is the McDonald’s McCrispy Ultimate Gaming Chair?
Fast food chain McDonald’s has launched the gaming chair to mark the launch of its new chicken burger, the McCrispy.
The leather chair has a burger ‘heat zone’ to keep a McCrispy warm, dedicated fries and dip holders that fit two McDonald’s dips.
The bespoke chair also features two re-usable napkins and a modular design so users can swap to different sides, catering for both left-handed and right-handed gamers.
As for the burger, the McCrispy is McDonald’s first permanent chicken burger launch since 2007, boasting 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating, served with iceberg lettuce, black pepper truffle mayo and a sourdough-style sesame topped bun.
The chair made its first appearance in the new McCrispy TV advert, when presenter Maya Jama sat on one whilst talking to actor, rapper and comedian Michael Dapaah, and UK streamer Elz the Witch (who actually owns one of the chairs – more on that in a bit).

McDonald’s is running a giveaway for one gaming chair.
The giveaway on McDonald’s UK Facebook Page ends at 23.59pm on Sunday November 13th 2022. Those aged 18+ can fill in a form to be entered into the competition.
British streamers Elz the Witch and Manny are the only people who currently own a McDonald’s gaming chair.
The news comes after McDonald’s hosted the McCrispy Ultimate Gaming House in Manchester. The star-studded launch event saw top gamers such as Bateson87 and Andy Castel, footballers, A-list celebs and influencers in attendance, going head-to-head to be crowned the ultimate winner on FIFA.
The likes of Keith Lemon, Michael Dapaah, Big Narstie, Davide Sanclimenti, John Stones, Lioness Alex Scott and others all played using the gaming chairs.

A McDonald’s spokesperson told us: “There are only FOUR of these chairs in the world – with gaming legends Manny and Elz The Witch being the only people to own one – so this really is a money-can’t-buy prize.”
So with there being four chairs, and with those two UK streamers owning one each, this means the third chair is available to be won in McDonald’s competition, while the fourth’s owner is currently unknown.
So will the gaming chair be mass-produced in the future and can you buy one?
A McDonald’s spokesperson told Esports News UK: “We have no such plans at the moment, but it’s been great to see so many people entering our competition.”

What about McDonald’s longer-term plans in gaming? Will McDonald’s do more in gaming or esports?
“Gaming is certainly an area we’d like to do more in and look forward to seeing our customers’ reactions in this space,” McDonald’s added.
Unlike the publicity stunt that was the KFConsole, the McDonald’s gaming chair actually exists, but it’s not available to buy.
