F1 Arcade opens in London with its own ‘digital ecosystem’

F1 Arcade London

F1 Arcade, billed as ‘the world’s first official premium F1 experiential venue’, launches in London on November 24th 2022 at One New Change, St Pauls.

The F1 Arcade features 60 motion F1 simulators for guests to play on and race on official Grand Prix circuits, plus food and beverages including champagne cocktails.

The venue will also have a ‘digital ecosystem’ including personal driver profiles and an experience currency. The currency will be used to let guests win unique prizes, activities in the venue and competition entries. The venue will also host experiences on Grands Prix weekends.

The new entertainment experience is aiming to bring the excitement of Formula 1 racing to the UK capital, and will be the ‘only Formula 1 competitive socialising experience in the world of its kind’.

Formula 1 says the F1 Arcade has been built to appeal to F1 fans and non-fans, to cater to a range of groups and occasions, from nights out to family experiences, corporate events and more.

The concept has been created by Adam Breeden, who has been behind some of London’s popular entertainment venues, including Flight Club, Puttshack, Hijingo, Bounce and All Star Lanes.

The F1 Arcade takes inspiration from the world of Formula 1, with an elevated venue design drawn from the global iconography of F1.

A newly created gameplay experience created by Motorsport Games, via its RFactor2 racing simulation platform, will allow guests to choose from a variety of racing modes to compete against each other individually, in team-based groups, or as part of all-venue racing formats. F1 says different modes will be available for all ages, abilities and skill levels.

The news comes one month after it was announced that the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship would be returning for 2022 with new format and more live shows.

Brandon Snow, MD of commercial at Formula 1, said: “We are very excited to introduce F1 Arcade, a brand-new premium entertainment venue that everyone can enjoy.

“F1 Arcade is an ambitious project that will allow people to get even closer to the Formula 1 experience by giving guests the chance to get behind the wheel of bespoke racing simulators in stylish surroundings with a high-quality hospitality offering.”

“Kindred Concepts and Formula 1 have worked tirelessly to ensure F1 Arcade will provide everyone who visits, fans and non-fans alike and regardless of age or ability, an incredible premium experience.”

Adam Breeden, founder and CEO of F1 Arcade, added: “We are thrilled to offer the first of these premium and exclusive entertainment experiences right in the heart of London. It has been my most ambitious project to date, taking everything we know about competitive socialising venues and adding the strength of the Formula 1 brand.

“This is all the glamour of a Grand Prix weekend in your city, all year round. The cutting-edge technology, high-class food and beverage, coupled with a jaw-dropping venue design sets a new level of quality.”

Event bookings and private room reservations are open from today, with bookings open to the public soon ahead of the grand opening on November 24th. There’s more info at f1arcade.com.
