British streamer Ali ‘Gross Gore’ Larsen has started streaming World of Warcraft after once again moving away from League of Legends.
Gross Gore – who was permanently banned from Twitch last year – is feeling a new wave of optimism from focusing on World of Warcraft.
He’s currently playing the Wrath of the Lich King Classic version of the game, which launched on September 26th 2022.
And he says he plans to stream WoW ’for the next ten years’.
Ali has played World of Warcraft on and off over the years, but started making content around the game the other day, with a non-livestreamed ‘Becoming the the richest WOTLK player’ edited series on YouTube.
After being encouraged by some viewers in the comments to stream the game instead, he started to do so, and began grinding for the Time-Lost Proto Drake mount live.
Ali has also been getting repeatedly ganked on the server, as per this video by a guild called ‘The Plan’, despite the server being heavily weighted towards Horde (with around 99% of players on the server Horde). The Plan are a group who antagonise Gross Gore.
Last month Gross Gore spoke about being in debts after receiving a bailiffs letter, but his partner has since started an OnlyFans and he says his financial situation is now more manageable.
Gross Gore also has a Horde guild called ‘Bad Form’ in the game on the EU server Gehennas, and his undead Warlock character is called Zarker.
Ali later added: “I am in love with everything right now. I love Safi. I love the directions of my streams. I love World of Warcraft and the community.
“I am working on my well health and eating better/sleeping at night, waking up early. I really am just saving all the money I can to see my daughter.
“After I capture the Time-Lost Proto Drake my plan is to just stream World of Warcraft as much as I can (telling stories/raiding/dungeons/making friends) whilst balancing seeing my family/daughter and spending time with Safi. I really have a good feeling about this. Excited.”
On his health, Gross Gore said: “I haven’t had any take-away in over a week. I’ve been waking up before 10am every day the past week and I must say, I am feeling so happy right now. This is the happiest i’ve ever felt in ever. I just feel like life is going to be go up from here. Oh my god I love you all.”
Four years ago, Blizzard actually put a troll-like trogg Gross Gore NPC in World of Warcraft, with a big nose, and the streamer demanded it to be changed to a human king instead. Blizzard ignored Ali’s request.
