Epsilon Esports’ UK H1Z1 players were on fire at the H1Z1 Invitational in California on the weekend.
ApexShay (pictured left) finished third and picked up $35,000, while his teammate RizaaR (right) won the tournament and received the $80,000 top prize.
MoNsTcR of Noble Esports was awarded $50,000 for finishing second.
They were taking part in the Legends H1Z1 tournament at TwitchCon which featured some of the world’s best players.
Alongside this, there was also an All-Stars competition for streamers, content creators and personalities including Dr DisRespect, Nadeshot, FemSteph and more, as well as a Challengers Invitational with open qualifiers.
Congratulations to @RizaaR_ our winner of #H1Z1Legends!! Won Game 1, 7 total slays, outstanding performance overall! pic.twitter.com/lvQIUyfn0F

RizaaR said: “I love the H1Z1 community – I’m proud to be a part of this game.”
When asked what he’ll do with the $80,000 winnings, he joked: “I dunno… skins?”
All in all, the H1Z1 Invitational seem to go down really well, despite some controversy involving host Don Fubar who was bad-mannered towards second-place player MoNsTcR.
RizaaR and ApexShay are the latest in a line of top UK esports players who have achieved great things this year.
UK FIFA player Spencer “Gorilla” Ealing won the FIFA Interactive World Cup, Team UK have reached the Overwatch World Cup quarter finals and EU LCS side Misfits (complete with British players Maxlore and Alphari and coach InnerFlame) took the world’s best League of Legends team SKT to a five-game series just a few days ago.
Who says UK esports players can’t compete with the best?
